Hestra calls these their absolute warmest mittens and they're intended for use on those bitter cold days. They use incredibly durable army leather on the palm that's sewed to a flexible, stretchable softshell material. They have polyester and fiberfill insulation that's combined with a bemberg and polyester lining. You can even combine the Army Leather Extreme Mitten with other mitten and glove liners from Hestra or other brands to even further enhance insulation, although you may not need to as these mittens are already super warm. These mittens come with the typical features we expect from Hestra. They have a quality carabiner to lock the mittens together when you're not using them, which we also see as a nod to their burly nature. Hestra's Handcuffs are absolutely awesome as they basically make it impossible to drop your mitten.
