The Hunter Node Battery Controller with 9V DC Latching Solenoid is a reliable battery-powered water controller useful for sites where power is restricted. It offers the same programming capabilities as an AC controller but with the added advantage having the ability to be installed in areas where access to power is more challenging. It makes use of a built in solenoid valve to control the water flow within your irrigation system. The controller can control 1 station and has 3 independent programs with 4 start times per program. The maximum run time of the station is up to 6 hours. The Global Seasonal Adjustment feature gives you the ability to make quick alterations to irrigation run times by using a percentage scale. During peak times the seasonal adjustment can be set at 100% however during weather conditions which require less water you can cut down irrigation run times by for example 50%. This eliminates the need to adjust each station in the program. The Easy Retrieve Memory feature allows a manual back-up utility of any desired programming to be restored at any time even after tampering or at the beginning of a new season. The Node is a compact and extremely reliable controller which can operate off one or two 9V batteries. It’s user friendly design features an easy to program LCD screen and simplistic controls. The Node has a solid construction and a resilient 3.5m waterproof exterior giving it the ability to deal with harsh environmental conditions and making it ideal for outdoor placement.
