Now with some internal upgrades and using the Heavy Duty Smart Clamps the XP-10-HD can put out an additional 50 Amps of cranking power over the original XP-10 model. The larger wires and jaw of the Heavy Duty Smart Clamps allow a much better connection to the vehicles battery terminals. They have a stronger clamping force and transfer the electrical current much more efficiently. Additionally these clamps have 5 built-in safety protections like our other clamps including reverse polarity protection back-charge protection short-circuit protection and more.
