Petzl Rad Line 60 mm

Petzl Rad Line Cord 60 m sand/white: A great addition for ski mountaineers and freeriders – the RAD Line 6 mm from Petzl. This cord is ultra-light and compact making it easy to carry in any pack. It is perfectly suited for rappelling crevasse rescue and roping up on a glacier. The material used for the rope a blend of polyester Dyneema and aramid is hyperstatic with a static elongation of less than 2%. This makes rescues much easier and more efficient because you don’t lose any strength as a result of stretch. The sheath is particularly rough for better handling. Light compact and clever – the RAD Line.Important: The RAD Line is not intended for belaying whilst climbing and may not be incorporated into your belay system. Thus it is not suitable for high-altitude mountaineering. The minimal static elongation would lead to serious injuries or worse if use in this way.
