The aroma is thick with wood as you might expect and notes of vanilla and butterscotch over cinnamon apple tart. On the tongue youll find classic baking spices up front followed by notes of roasted almonds sweet bell pepper fresh wood and a hint of apple. The finish is medium length with a lingering spice. The custom designed wave barrel creates an innovative and unique environment to finish our fully mature Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. The proprietary flash-charred toasted grooved-staves increase the surface area of the barrel allowing more bourbon to come in contact with the oak. The result is a seasoned double-barreled whiskey that is both smooth and well-balanced.
