Designed to provide the drivers of medium-duty heavy-duty and commercial light trucks with the load carrying capacity and traction they need the Blizzak LT is available in load range E 10-ply rated sizes and delivers sure-footed confidence in cold dry and wet conditions in addition to in snow and on ice. Utilizing a rugged light truck winter compound enables the Blizzak LT to withstand the heavy loads and harsh conditions often encountered by commercial vehicles. Tie bars in the outboard shoulders connect and stabilize the tread blocks to provide confident handling and resist irregular wear. Wide outboard circumferential grooves help evacuate deep water and slush and the zig zag center groove further aids hydroplaning resistance while also improving snow traction. Deep tread depths and independent tread blocks aid grip in snow while the specialized winter compound and high sipe density provide traction in wet or snowy conditions in addition to on ice. The internal construction of the Blizzak LT consists of a robust two-ply polyester cord casing. Two high strength steel belts support the tread and are reinforced by a nylon casing ply. Blizzak LT winter tires meet the industry’s severe snow service requirements and are branded with the three-peak mountain snowflake 3PMSF symbol. Install Blizzak LT tires in sets of four only. Due to the traction capabilities of the Blizzak LT Bridgestone recommends using Blizzak LT tire on all wheel positions to provide the best handling characteristics and tire performance.
