To control Boost using an engine management system you need a solenoid for the ECU to control. This solenoid controls how much air is allowed through to the boost reference nipple on the wastegate therefore controlling the boost level. Without a boost control solenoid the ECU cannot control boost.This Boost Control Solenoid is universal and can be wired in for use with any EMS. AEM’s Boost Control Solenoid is specifically manufactured for automotive applications. It is designed to resist corrosion and sticking from exposure to rich fuel mixtures. AEM’s Boost Control Solenoid is pressure tested to 100 PSI and includes 1/8 NPT to 3/8 barb fittings to reduce any chance of leaks.
