In collaboration with Green Theme International the Distance Wind Shell now features the revolutionary Aquavent DWR technology. This is an environmentally friendly PFC-free DWR coating that offers superior performance over other C-6 C-8 or C-0 DWR solutions. This performance is surpassed by its durability as Aquavent is permanently applied to the individual fabric strands. This means there is no need to refresh the jacket’s waterproofing with spray or special detergent. The Distance Wind Shell can be packed extremely compactly in its own breast pocket and attached to the climbing harness with the integrated carabiner loop to have weather protection ready in case of emergency. Suitable for intensive sporting activities the breathability and durability make the Distance Wind Shell an ideal companion on demanding mountain tours with little equipment and weight.
