Their Wood Finishing Series is on its 4th release with the 2022 offering consisting of BRT-01 and BRT-02. The two are meant to be enjoyed as a pair with BRT standing for “hand-barrel rotation”. The whiskey duo explores how barrel rotation and temperature influence the production process with BRT-01 showcasing the tasting notes that come from the barrels at the hotter top of the rickhouse while BRT-02 comes from barrels that mature at the cooler bottom. Together they’re the perfect way to “taste your way through the rickhouse”. BRT-01 is bottled at a cask strength of 109.4 proof and features notes of caramel butterscotch spice brown sugar stone fruit and honey.
