It is UL and cUL listed and automatically maintains a constant tip temperature without having to make any adjustments. It’s temperature is controlled by the inserted tip. A high quality 3/8 inch iron clad tip at 700 Fahrenheit is included part number CT6F7. 600 F tip part number CT6F6 and 800 tip part number CT6F8 are sold separately. Standard heat up time for the 700 degree Fahrenheit tip is a quick 110 seconds with its nichrome wound heating element allowing you to get more work done in a shorter amount of time. The soldering iron uses a portable line voltage iron meaning a base is not required allowing you more freedom.
