Uses Scopolamine Patches 1.5 mg/72 Hours are prescribed to prevent nausea and vomiting from motion sickness or post-recovery following anesthesia and surgery. Cautions Scopolamine Patches 1.5mg/72 Hours may contain metal in the patch – the patch should be removed prior to MRI procedures. How to use Scopolamine Patches 1.5mg/72 Hours should be applied at least 4 hours before the nausea/vomiting trigger and replaced every 3 days if needed. For postoperative use Scopolamine Patches 1.5mg/72 Hours are applied the night before surgery and left on for 24 hours after surgery. Possible side effects Drowsiness dizziness dry mouth nervousness and visual changes may occur when using Scopolamine Patches 1.5 mg/72 Hours. Please consult with your healthcare provider or pharmacist if you have any concerns regarding these or any other symptoms. Missed dose Apply the missed patch as soon as you remember skip the missed patch if it is almost time for your next application. Do not apply double patches.
