Typically pale golden and peated today’s Caol Ila remains true to its traditions. Not as pungent or heavy as some of its neighbors and remarkably fresh-tasting it is yet deceptively intense in the finish It has all the fresh sea-air aromas and smoky-dry flavours of an expressive appetizing Islay malt. 43% Alc. /Vol.
