The Arturia MICROFREAK Stellar Paraphonic Hybrid Synthesizer combines the best of both worlds with analog and digital synthesis engines that provide a diverse tonal palette; allowing you to create virtually any sound you can think of. Building on the success of the original MicroFreak this limited-edition ‘Stellar’ version not only features an updated finish but it also includes a range of new features. Three new granular engines comprised of Scan Cloud and Hit modes allow you to explore the depths of granular synthesis. A new sampling engine is also included that provides the means to manipulate and trigger recorded audio. All the original modes are still included such as analog modelling and Karplus-strong to physical modelling engines as well as integrating the legendary Plaits oscillator modes from Mutable Instruments via open source. The MicroFreak also features a rich 12dB/oct analog filter which allows you to shape and sculpt your sound with maximum precision. Offering powerful warmth and a distinctive character; the MicroFreak is perfect for music production sound design and live performance. Create loops craft melodies and curate live performances using the onboard sequencer and polyphonic touch play keyboard for maximum expression. A wide range of connectivity options allows you to use the MicroFreak with a range of audio gear from external synths to CV gear such as Eurorack modules.
