On a frosty morning in Chamonix sitting by the fireplace a feeling of comfort gradually takes hold of you. Outside the beauty of the icy landscape contrasts with the bewitching warmth of the flames. The delicious temptation of spices and delicacies with notes of chestnut and vanilla sublimates the atmosphere of this chalet. A hot chestnut vendor passes by spreading on his way the trace of powerful smoky fragrances. Thanks to a careful choice of wax the average burning time is 40 hours. However it is advised not to let the candle burn more than 4 consecutive hours to avoid damaging the wick. The maintenance requires to cut the wick regularly in order not to drown it but especially not to cause black smoke.
