The bariatric model has a weight capacity of up to 500 pounds. The overlay includes 15 bladders covering the entire patient contact area. These bladders are ideal for permitting the overlay to redistribute pressure as needed by the user. In order to create an overlay that secures the mattress Drive has added 4 elastic corner straps to securely position the overlay to the mattress. Theyve also used extremely durable materials such as the overlays urethane coated nylon cover that is both water-resistant and permeable to vapor.
