The 66256 Proform High Torque Starter for Chevy V6 and V8 engines delivers 40-50% more cranking power than stock starters high-output motor. The 100% new High Torque Starter features an offset design which allows more clearance between the oil pan and the starter and may be rotated for extra chassis clearance. This Proform starter has a high torque gear-reduction design includes a 3.75 to 1 sealed gear reduction drive and full ball bearing construction. With the starter Proform includes shims to set pinion-gear engagement.
