Seymour Duncan SH-5 Duncan Custom – A custom overwound PAF like humbucker with moderate output that is perfectly voiced for supreme blues rock and metal clarity. The Duncan Custom is an overwound PAF style pickup that uses a small ceramic magnet and custom wound coils to deliver great responsiveness while maintaining clarity for big chords. It has a bright upper-midrange which helps the notes jump out when playing clean and provides great harmonic content when playing with gain. The Duncan Custom has a bright airy and focused drive making it a great choice for warmer guitars with a prominent midrange. Pair with the Jazz neck or 59 neck model for a rockin dual humbucker setup. Hand built in our Santa Barbara CA factory the Duncan Custom uses a small ceramic bar magnet nickel silver bottom plate 4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options and is vacuum wax potted for squeal-free performance.
