Gretsch Filtertron Bridge Pickup Nickel The Filter’Tron “Electronic Guitar Headwas introduced in 1957 at the summer NAMM show in Chicago. Filter’Tron pickups feature dual-coils and are designed to filter out the electronic hum normally associated with single-coil pickups while adding a warmer tone and a significant increase in output and sustain.Pickup is used and I am not sure how old it is. There are clues in the pictures for those in the know. Pickup measures 4.9K on my cheap multimeter. Likely indicates an alnico magnet but I can’t swear to it. It also looks to be a nickle cover but I can’t be sure of that either. Please consider the pictures to be part of the description.
