It is used to treat separation anxiety by increasing serotonin levels in dogs 6 months of age and older. Clomicalm may help with inappropriate barking destructive behavior inappropriate urination and inappropriate defecation due to separation anxiety. Clomicalm is not a sole solution to separation anxiety and should be a part of behavioral and environmental management. What are the side effects of Clomicalm The most common side effects of clomicalm include vomiting tiredness and diarrhea. Clomicalm may also cause other side effects that are much less common. Giving Clomicalm with food may help with the stomach side effects and increases the amount of Clomicalm that is absorbed.
