Featuring one of our most popular horns the Shocker XL Horns The Conductors Special 228V is a great 2-gallon entry-level train horn kit. Much like our Conductors Special 127H the Conductors Special 228V is great for tight install spaces with the air source unit taking up just over a cubic foot of space. With the Conductors Special 228V however you get even more air and a higher pressure! The MVP of our Conductors Special 228V is definitely our Shocker XL Horns. Made of a ridiculously strong fiberglass ABS the Shocker XL horns are very light. Unlike other horns they dont require a big metal manifold making them the easiest horns to install when space is limited. Just because theyre not huge and metal doesnt mean they don’t have a huge sound though. The Shocker XL Horns are the loudest horns on the market except the real locomotive horns which are the Nathan Airchime horns. With its compact size this system is great for installing in places such as toolboxes or inside a trunk. The 2-gallon tank gives you about 4 seconds of blast time and the Viair 280C compressor recharges from 90-120 PSI in only 30 seconds!
