The legendary Temptrol pressure-balancing anti-scald mixing valve is the heart of every Symmons tub and shower system. Each valve is constructed of solid brass bronze and stainless steel and features an adjustable piston that instantly and continually balances the hot and cold water pressure as demand fluctuates in the plumbing system. An adjustable stop screw limits the maximum hot water temperature. The Temptrol features a one-piece cast brass body that is designed to accommodate back-to-back and thin-wall installations.
