The Kreg PRS1045 Precision Router Table System is the all-in-one solution for your precision router needs! At the heart of Kreg’s system is their Precision Router Table Fence. Constructed of anodized aluminum this 36-in. fence will always stay parallel to the miter gauge slot due to the design of its table-saw style T-square adjustment. The fence is easily adjusted and locks into place in two spots with a large paddle lock on the infeed end and a quarter-turn lock on the outfeed end that prevents fence deflection. A measuring scale and a micro-adjust wheel ensure exact positioning and precision set-ups. |This fence can also double as a jointer with the use of the two jointing rods included in the kit. In addition the sliding fence faces provide support for your work-piece close to the router bit and maximize chip collection into the fence’s built-in dust-collection port. Constructed of high-pressure laminate over a 1-in. 24mm MDF core Kreg’s Precision Router Table Top provides stability and an easy-glide 24-in. x 32-in. 609 mm x 813 mm work suraface. It includes steel reinforcing struts underneath to ensure the work surface stays flat. The insert plate measures 3/8 in. 9mm thick and 9-1/4 x 11-3/4 in. 235mm x 298mm on its surface and comes with 4 levelers to ensure a completely flush work surface between the plate and the table. The table is also equippped with a combination miter gauge/T-track that accepts a miter gauge and other accessories while the fence is easily removed for those times when you desire free-hand router operation. The heavy-gauge steel stand can be adjusted from 31 in. to 39 in. tall and has leveling feet to compensate for uneven floors.
