The Hover Core is an ultra-light core reinforced with Bamboo sticks. For an explosive pop the Mercury is also equipped with Amplitex technology which is a carbon and linen weave placed in a V-shape on the nose and tail. The directional shape has a 12.7mm setback for steering and flotation in powder snow. Thus the Mercury offers optimal performance for freestyle/all-mountain use. And to go even faster the new Hyperdrive Base will allow you to charge on all types of snow.
