This outstanding packable axe is a great option for camping and bushcraft. It has a 2 lb head forged from 5160 steel and hardened to 54-56 HRC for edge retention. With a 3 1/2cutting edge this axe is well suited for chopping limbing splitting felling smaller trees and even rough carving and hewing. The head features a hardened extended poll for improved overall balance and for driving metal stakes and wedges. The head is hafted proud on a durable 19grade-A hickory handle.
