The Gama Sonic Progressive GS-103 solar LED spotlight is the perfect accent light to brighten up your landscape. Its warm-white LED surrounded by reflective housing is ideal for shrubs plants signs or architectural features of your home. Unlike low-voltage lighting this solar spotlight requires no electrical wiring for powerjust sunlight. The solar panel sits above the spotlight but is detachable for placement up to six feet away for optimum sun exposure to charge the Progressive’s 3000 mAh Lithium Ion battery. The Progressive will turn on automatically at dusk and provide light at a brightness of 100 lumens for up to six hours on a full solar charge. The Progressive’s clear ABS plastic lens is adjustable for a narrow or wide beam. The fixture is made from heavy-duty cast aluminum with a powder-coated black finish and comes with two mounting stakes–one for the light one for the solar panel if detached. It also has an optional base for placing the light on flat surfaces. The monocrystalline silicon solar panel measures seven inches across five-and-a-half inches from top to bottom and half an inch thick and is protected by weather-resistant cleanable tempered glass that helps ensure long-lasting reliability. The light’s replaceable plugged battery pack is good for about 1000 charges. Recharging speed varies based on weather conditions but generally it takes about six hours of sunlight on the solar panel to achieve a full solar charge of the battery pack after it’s been completely run down.
