This cover is specifically designed for on-ground pools with an 8′ end deck and a 2′ walk-around deck. This cover is reinforced with heavy-duty webbing along the top and bottom of every seam. Unlike other safety covers which feature webbing on only one side of the cover Yard Guard’s webbing on both sides increases the strength of the cover by double. Rub strips are placed where the strapping would go over the coping to prevent wear and tear. Marine-grade white triple line stitching is used to secure all straps with cross and box tack at all perimeter stress points. The Yard Guard BLOC Mesh 99% safety cover features a 99% shade rated heavy-duty porous mesh. Shade rating is the percentage of sunlight the cover blocks from entering your pool. The more sunlight that is blocked by the cover the less algae that will be able to grow in your pool. This mesh also features a 58 x 48 scrim count threads per square inch which is a measure of how tightly woven the material is. The material used is also 7.1 oz/yd2 and 18 mills thick. All Yard Guard covers are manufactured using the most modern equipment including a computerized cutting and shaping system. All covers throughout every stage of production are quality checked and signed for before final packaging. The hardware included with this cover is prepackaged in individual poly bags each containing a brass plug brass screw spring buckle and vinyl sleeve. Warning: Brass contains trace amounts of lead. The brass anchors in this product contain lead a substance known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. Wash hands after handling.
