Aimed at self-starters such as make-up artists and online personalities this LED Ring Light Kit from Neewer comes with all the accessories you need to set up a simple light and camera rig for photo or video recording. The kit includes an 18ring light with a dedicated carrying bag an adjustable 29.5 to 61aluminum alloy stand and two sets of white and orange filters to help diffuse your output. A soft extension tube can be used to articulate the fixture and a ball head is provided for mounting a DSLR or mirrorless camera via its 1/4″-20 screw. You can use your iOS or Android phone for shooting thanks to the adjustable smartphone holder that clips onto the ball head and a Bluetooth remote that controls your device wirelessly from up to 30′ away. The ring light is composed of 240 individual LEDs that feature an efficient surface-mounted SMD design and a low total power draw of 55W. It is fully dimmable from 1 to 100% offering a fixed color temperature of 5500K across the entire range that allows it to closely match other daylight-balanced light sources. Additionally the fixture is rated to have a CRI of 83 or greater for reasonable color accuracy. The ring light runs on 120V 60 Hz power.
