This bag is insulated with Keltys CloudLoft a synthetic insulation that is easy to care for and maintains its loft and hence its insulating properties over time. Less expensive than down synthetic insulation also retains most of its insulating capabilities when wet making the bag a good choice for adventures in wet or damp climates. Both the shell of the sleeping bag and the lining are made of 75 denier polyester taffeta. Where the bag really stands out from others is in its layered design. Underneath the outer layer is a built-in blanket which provides unrivaled flexibility. The blanket bolsters warmth when temperatures dip but can serve as your sole top cover when the mercury rises.
