Utilizing simple pressure-mounting installation the Boston gate can be mounted without the need for hardware an any door or hallway. If you are mounting your gate at the top of the stairs you should use the hardware mounting accessories that are provided with the gate and the one-way door stopper to prevent the door from opening outwards over the stairs. Once the gate is installed the EZY-check indicator takes out the guess work by showing that the gate is latched closed and tension is properly distributed. The Boston gate is suitable for openings 29.5-32.5in wide and the gate is 29.5in tall. The Boston gate can extend up to 54.5 in with optional extensions sold separately. Great for pets too!
