About the Safco Flat File with Low BaseThe Safco Flat Files are modular and can be stacked. The low base raises flat file cabinets 6 inches off of the floor for protection and easier access. The base is recessed 2-3/4 inches from the front of the flat file cabinets for ample toe space. The low base allows up to five flat file cabinets in any combination of five and 10 drawer cabinets to be stacked on top of it. Anti-slip pads between units prevent shifting. Features welded steel construction wrap-around corners and a sturdy inner frame. Heavy gauge steel with front supports add stacking strength. Stack up to 5 cabinets high on a closed base. All units assemble easily.
