Sennheiser is pleased to announce the launch of the KH 80 DSP Neumann’s first DSP Studio Monitor. As a result this monitor features greater consistency improved accuracy and more flexibility than its analog counterparts. The KH 80 DSP two-way 4+ 1″ active bi-amplified monitor features a DSP engine with network control a Mathematically Modeled Dispersion Waveguide MMD an analogue input and an extensive range of mounting hardware. A standard IP network connection allows the monitoring system to be controlled using Neumann.Control which runs on a PC/Mac computer or Android/iOS tablet. This allows the loudspeaker to be used in diverse acoustical conditions with any source equipment and in a wide variety of physical locations. The KH 80 represents the latest in acoustic and electronic simulation and measurement technologies to ensure the most accurate sound reproduction possible. Target Groups The KH 80 DSP is designed for use as a near-field monitor as a front loudspeaker in a mid-sized multi-channel system or as a rear loudspeaker in a larger multi-channel system. It can be used in music broadcast centers OB vans and post production studios for tracking mixing and mastering. Due to its small size it is also well-suited for desktop applications and domestic environments.
