Its flat frequency response and selectable settingstwo low-cut filter options and a -15 dB padmake the KSM32/CG honest and versatile so it can be used on anything from vocals and guitars to drums and piano. The CG model comes with a ShureLock stand mount and zippered storage bag. The uniform cardioid polar pattern of the KSM32/CG helps reduce the capture of stage bleed and background noise allowing you to achieve more gain and stronger direct sound. The built-in pop protection utilizes three separate layers to minimize noise from vocal plosives breaths and even light wind. Internal shock-mounting helps to decouple the mic from sources of vibration that could otherwise transfer from the mic body to the capsule. Being a solid-state XLR condenser mic the KSM32/CG requires 48V phantom power.
