The ultimate “Ampeg-in-a-pedal”! The Ampeg SCR-DI is a Bass Preamp / D.I. that you can use as a preamp D.I. Box overdrive pedal and headphone bass amp! Bring authentic Ampeg tone wherever you are! The SCR-DI has the classic Ampeg 3-band EQ for precise tone shaping. The Ultra Lo switch boosts the bass for deep and punchy low end. The Ultra Hi switch boosts the highs for added snap attack and bite. You can also switch on the built-in Scrambler Overdrive when you need some “pushor “growl” or if you really want filthy distortion for extreme styles. For setup versatility there is a DI XLR Output and a 1/4line out jack. Hook up the XLR direct to the mixer/PA or run the SCR-DI through a bass amp via the 1/4jack. Good news is you can also run both outputs simultaneously; a great solution for front-of-house and monitoring. The headphone out also gives out true bass cabinet sound through your headphones so you can still enjoy big Ampeg tone even on late nights without disturbing your neighbors. And as bonus the SCR-DI also has a 3.5 mm aux input so you can connect your phone or music player and jam along audio tracks.
