On the front of the housing there is a volume control which also functions as an on/off switch; a blue LED provides information on the operating status. Both models have an internal power supply two RCA inputs on the back and a 3.5 mm headphone output on the front. Elevate 5 MKII provides 40 watts of output power per speaker. The Elevate 5 MKII is named after a 5low frequency loudspeaker that can also reproduce bass adequately. In the Elevate series a 1waveguide tweeter with silk dome tweeter was also used. This allows a wider sweet spot in the listening situation and minimizes audio reflections. On the rear of the speakers there is a switch for the optional bass boost which is further enhanced by the integrated bass reflex port. Elevate 5 MKII is magnetically shielded against interference from other equipment such as displays.
