G-SHOCKs new GA2100 series packs all the hard-wearing functionality youd expect from the brand but in a slim case thats unlike anything else theyve released to date. An ana-digi that has been aptly nicknamed the Casioak the GA2100 features a familiar octagonal shape but a style all its own. Measuring in at 45.4mm wide by 48.5mm long the GA2100 sounds like a rather large watch but on the wrist it tells a different story. With a thickness of 11.4mm achieved with G-SHOCKs new Carbon Guard Core technology it wears significantly thinner than most other G-SHOCKs. The resin case and band are also lightweight making for a comfortable full day of wear. The GA2100 blends analog displays and digital features for a cohesive and easy-to-use experience. The analog features include the traditional lumed handset and a small sub-dial that points to the day of the week at 9 oclock. Cut into the dial is a small LCD screen that opens up a whole world of features that are sure to come in handy on a daily basis including a world time mode stopwatch countdown timer and the ability to set several alarms. The screen is also backlit so you also make the best of these functions even when the lights are out.
